It sadly shut down a while ago, but i can highly recommend the journal of bioeconomics (https://link.springer.com/journal/10818/volumes-and-issues). Not every paper is directly related to what you have in mind, but i guess you would find some good ones in there, for example one which links sexual selection and conspicious consumption to economic growth --> https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s10818-015-9200-9
