a decline in assortative efficiency of intellectually capable individuals to their optimal roles within the economy should be quantifiable. yet no change to the hundreds of years long trend of exponential increase in GDP per capita is observed.. perhaps the exponential function has simply slowed as result of such changes, or the assortment mechanism was already flawed for other reasons
As opposed to gdp it seems like it would relate to the correlation between IQ and fertility, as well as IQ and wealth. I don't know if the latter has declined although I suspect it, and we are pretty sure based on data the former has declined.
